Baby Sign Language (BSL): Online Training
Teach Your Baby to Sign:
Our exclusive series of 5 instructional videos are based on our popular Baby Sign Language (BSL) workshop. Families who are not based in New York can now ‘attend' our workshop from the comfort of their homes. In these videos, you will learn all the key information about how to get started, your child’s learning process, the signs most relevant to babies, effective teaching strategies, and a few fun songs and activities.
You’ll learn the signs for More, All Done, Milk, Food, Water, Drink, Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Help, Change, Diaper, Book, Music, Book, Music, Hug/Love, Please, Thank You, and more. Get started with the Shake and Stop songs for your first two signs and progress with the “More Eating” song, which you can modify to introduce a number of signs.
We got a group of families together and shot a full workshop, segments of which are included in the videos. All signs are clearly demonstrated by Deaf people, the process is highlighted by home videos of babies signing, and you’ll hear from other families who have used BSL successfully. We can’t make it any easier than this. Enjoy!
Get started today with our FREE online educational videos on YouTube. You can email Signing Up any time with questions to receive one-on-one support from Melissa. We want to make sure your baby becomes a signing pro!
"After 2 classes he was signing “More” and in 3 weeks he stopped screaming at dinnertime and started signing “All done”. I wish we had started earlier."
